GEOS Language Academy Ottawa is part of the GEOS family of language schools. Our school is a great place to study English, improve your proficiency test scores, gain work experience, and make new friends from around the world. We provide quality language courses in a friendly atmosphere here in Ottawa. We offer super-intensive, intensive, and part time English as a Second Language(ESL). We also offer TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC Preparation Courses, Study-Work Internship Programs, study tours, and other courses. Our school is in the heart of downtown Ottawa.
As the capital of Canada, Ottawa is home to the best that Canadian culture has to offer. Just minutes from the school you'll find dozens of world class museums, concert halls and galleries. At the centre of it all is Parliament Hill, whose beautiful buildings attract thousands of tourists all year round for free tours, festivals, light shows, and parades. And of course on Canada Day (July 1st) Parliament Hill comes alive with colour and noise as it hosts the biggest birthday party in country!

Our school is located in the heart of downtown Ottawa. It is 2 minutes away from Parliament Hill and conveniently located right in the center of Ottawa's transportation system. It is also a few blocks from Rideau Mall, Ottawa's most popular shopping center.

GEOS Ottawa organizes after-school activities (and occasionally organizes weekend activities) for our international students in Ottawa. These activities vary by season. Some examples of these activities include trips to Parliament Hill, coffee talk, sports games, city tours, and more!

We offer homestays, residences, and other accommodations for students.
The GEOS Homestay Program is intended to give visiting foreign students a first-hand experience of Canadian culture by sharing in everyday host family life. As well as being able to use practical English language skills they have learned in school, it is expected that students will be able participate in family activities for a holistic view of life in Ottawa.
A GEOS staff member visits each of our host families with students’ interests in mind. All families have also had a police background check. Our aim is to provide our students with a secure, educational and vibrant environment. Our host families live in safe, comfortable neighborhoods close to the school.
Alternatively, we can also place students in a student residence close to the school. Please e-mail us for full details.

Homestay (Half-Board)- $200 CAD/week
Homestay (Full-Board)- $225 CAD/week

Airport transfer is available for students who request it. Just give us your flight details and arrival date. You must book your airport transfer in advance.
